With a little delay, finally we are releasing "Sad Salad" by Latvian psychedelic garage band Plastic Dummy.
Sad Salad is an insight into borderline personality disorder, told by founding member Igors. As he was walking in the kitchen he saw a chrushed salad leaf laying on the ground and thought to himself: "What a sad salad". You can wash it and clean it, but still, you can’t eat it no more. This is a story about feeling miserable, unwanted and always alone. A tale about the days when you just want to hide in a dark hole, feeling constantly judged by society. "You will never be good enough! Why aren’t you like everyone else!?"
This is a lyrical and musical story told by someone who is searching for better days with a constant presence of anxiety and insanity.
As he have said, these songs are not made to help someone with depression, they are here just to tell the story.
